2010 Spring Retreat

“God In My World”  Presented by Dr. Mary Larson

‘Experiencing the presence of God in our daily life is something we all cherish. But, some-times the circumstances of life throw us a curve and we can suddenly feel very distance from Him. Over the course of the week-end, we will look some specific areas where sensing “GOD IN MY WORLD” doesn’t easily happen and what are changes that can be made to make it happen!

· How can we overcome stressful situations and struggles that often entangle us and make it difficult to find good solutions?

· How can difficult relationship issues within our families and/or within the church family be         successfully resolved?

· How can we objectively recognize any need for change within          ourselves?

· How can we know where it is God wants to take us in our own personal walk of fait

Our “GOD IN MY WORLD” women’s retreat can be an opportunity to grow in grace and understanding of God’s infinite power within us. Come and be encouraged that with “GOD IN MY WORLD”, we can be an over-comer and live an abundant Christian life.

GIVING

This year, instead of our auction, we will collect gifts for the local crisis pregnancy center,  Birthright. Please visit their website www.birthright.org for more info.

 

DONATON ITEMS

Please consider bringing  new baby clothes (especially needed are 18 months to 3T) or items such as: onesies, kimonos, stretch sleepers, coats, jackets, hats, mittens, socks, diapers, wipes, pull-ups, baby shampoo, lotion, washcloths, crib sheets, blankets,  infant cereal, baby food, bottles and handmade blankets and baby items.

Also needed are new and gentle used maternity clothes.
